St Stephens Mews

Welcome to the lovely London Notting Hill Mews, a recent project we had the pleasure to refurbish. Our main focus was on transforming the living room area on the top floor, and we are truly grateful for the positive outcomes we achieved.
At the heart of this transformation lies a bespoke metal staircase, thoughtfully designed to lead you to the fantastic rooftop, embracing the beauty of the outdoors. We took the time to explore the wooden beams, uncovering their inherent charm, and seamlessly incorporated them into the design.
One of the standout features is the bespoke bench, elegantly encircling one wall, creating a perfect dining area that exudes both comfort and simplicity. This beautifully crafted piece seamlessly transitions into a flower pot, where we concealed a graceful palm tree, adding a touch of natural freshness to the space. The bench ingeniously extends to become low bookshelves, offering both storage and a banquette seating function, ensuring every inch of the space is optimized for practicality.
To evoke a warm and welcoming ambiance, we carefully selected colors and textures that reflect the charm of the area. Lin fabrics exude understated elegance, while bright oak shade furniture adds a sense of homey comfort. The natural existing beams, exposed to reveal their innate beauty, bring a touch of rustic allure that harmonizes with the surrounding environment.
When the space is blessed with soft natural light from three sides, a beautiful interplay of design details emerges, creating an enchanting atmosphere that captivates all who enter.
Discover the humble world of London Notting Hill Mews, where bespoke design and meticulous craftsmanship unite, transforming the living room into a cozy haven of comfort and style.
